War on Terror going badly?

It seems to be ironic to call the War on Terror or in particular, the Iraqi War, as going badly. Look at what we have had for obstacles. Considering everything that we have had to battle, I think the war is going well. In comparing to past wars, you can take a lot of decimals off the number of killed on both sides.
Right from the beginning, the democratic party was throwing blocks up to hinder our Country's health: The continued hounding of an unjust war against an obvious tyrant that needed to be removed; the blocking of an very much needed energy plan; the politicizing of our troops doing their job and putting our troops in harms way; the placing of rules on our troops that the enemy does not even know and recognize, tying our power to deal with such insurgencies; the pulling in the reigns on conquering our enemy who which has granted them sanctuary in neighboring Syria and Iran.
How about the power based countries: who through the U.N. did their best to hamstring our foreign policy in order to protect their involvement in the Oil for Food scandal; who by not supporting our lead in removing the evil from the world to self fulfill their own greed and ignorance; who by making us out to be the evil one as the terrorists cut off heads of innocent people; who by using this destabilizing of the U.S. to push us toward socialism and ultimately fascism.
Sure, we have not spent enough on armor nor have we spent enough on intelligence, but who is at fault for this. Surely you cannot expect to fund and prepare an updated military overnight and fight a war at the same time, one that was needed to start as it did.
Our problem is not that we are not ready to fight this war. The problem is we are not being allowed to fight the war. The insurgency is from Syria and Iran. We should of been shutting down the Iraqi terrorism and put the enemy on the run.. NO, we have to wait for the enemy to blow up our Troops and to kill the Iraqis so that the world can say, "see the war is going bad." We live in a sick world. We must stop putting our troops in harms way and let the President fight this war. By doing this politicizing of the war, we are making the dying in vain, not the war. Support the Untied States of America!
